CBS Celebrates its 10th Birthday!

 

We can’t believe it: where have the last 10 years gone? But we are happy to be celebrating a decade of business trading!
Over the past decade, hard work and loyal customers have meant we have grown to become Wales’ leading DBS screening service and the third largest in the UK; so let’s toast to another 10 years of success and business growth! 

To The Future of CBS!

We have ambitious plans to accelerate our profit growth and expand into the global market, plus next door (we’re expanding our office space).
We’ve projected a £4 million turnover and a 350% gross profit increase by 2016 and securing 10 council tenders in 6 months has helped provide £2 million towards that goal. In fact, if achieved, we’ll have increased profit five-fold in 5 years.
We already have some wonderful clients, such as Siemens, B&Q and the British Heart Foundation, as well as a number of small local companies. But we hope to get the chance to work with a number of new faces over the years to come.

At the moment we process 100,000 reference checks and 5,000 pre-employment screening applications per year with 80% of these returned in under 10 days. But there’s always room for improvement.
We’re launching our eScreening service to standardise and speed up our processing so clients can receive these checks within one day! Most other companies will take around a month to do the same thing.
And by 2020 we hope to triple our workforce!

“Over the next decade, we will strive to keep enhancing and developing services by establishing new partnerships and introducing an advanced product range for both UK and global audiences. Our existing partnership with MapitAndGo has pioneered our product offering as we have developed software that allows us to return criminal record disclosures in one day, 30 times faster than our competitors.
