Complete Background Screening celebrates Womenspire win

Last month, Complete Background Screening(CBS) celebrated another successful award win at Chwarae Teg’s Womenspire awards in a ceremony held at the Royal Welsh College of Music and drama.

After being nominated for Employer of the Year in the private sector, CBS fought off tough competition from PriceWaterHouseCoopers (PwC), Agri Advisor Solicitors and JCP solicitors to walk away with this year’s award. Our team were thrilled to be presented with the award and it was an evening enjoyed by all – as you may have seen on our Twitter page.

Rachel Bedgood, CEO of CBS, says, “It was an honour to be nominated for the Womenspire awards but to win and be recognised for the work that we do is a fantastic feeling. We all work exceptionally hard to provide a brilliant service for our clients, which has been highlighted in previous award wins. However, for me, it’s personally an honour to be recognised as the employer of the year.

“This achievement is particularly important to me as much of our recruitment happens in the South Wales Valleys and works to regenerate the area. Supporting the local economy and providing a great place to work is something I’m very passionate about and I plan to maintain this culture as CBS continues to grow.”
