Celebrating Pride Month with unity and flavour: CBS’s team cooking event

At Complete Background Screening, we believe that unity, support, and celebration of diversity are integral to our company culture. Nestled in the vibrant community of Mountain Ash, our team frequently comes together for various causes, hosting events that not only raise significant funds for charities but also strengthen our bonds as a team.

This Pride Month, we decided to take our tradition of team events to the next level by organising a special cooking session. Our staff gathered in the office kitchen to whip up a delectable lunch, all in the spirit of celebrating and supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

The atmosphere was full of fun and camaraderie as colleagues collaborated, shared recipes, and infused each dish with love and pride. The result was not just a delicious meal, but a beautiful tapestry of our team’s diverse backgrounds and shared commitment to inclusivity.

Why we celebrate

Pride Month is more than just a celebration; it’s a powerful reminder of the importance of acceptance, love, and equality. At Complete Background Screening, we are dedicated to fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. This event was our way of showing that our support extends beyond words, manifesting in actions that promote unity and understanding.

More than just a meal
The impact of our cooking event went beyond enjoying a meal together. It was an opportunity to reflect on the significance of Pride Month and reaffirm our commitment to supporting the LGBTQ+ community, and each other. These team events play a crucial role in our company:

Fundraising: Our events often serve as fundraisers for various charities. This cooking event was no different, as we collected donations to support LGBTQ+ organisations.

Team Building: Sharing these experiences brings us closer, enhancing our teamwork and cooperation.

Community Engagement: By celebrating diverse causes, we stay connected with our community and contribute positively.

A tradition of giving back

Complete Background Screening is proud of our tradition of giving back. From charity walks to themed office days, our events are a testament to our dedication to making a difference. We believe that by coming together for these causes, we not only raise funds but also spread awareness and foster a culture of empathy and support.

Looking forward
As we continue to celebrate Pride Month and plan future events, we are reminded of the strength found in unity and the importance of celebrating our differences. We look forward to more opportunities to cook, celebrate, and support causes that matter to our team and our community.

Here’s to embracing diversity, one event at a time. Happy Pride Month from all of us at Complete Background Screening!

Stay tuned for more updates on our upcoming events and initiatives. Together, we can make a difference!
