CBS Has Made the Fast Growth 50 for the 4th Time!

CBS is now one of the top 3 background screening providers in the country and our business continues to grow. In fact, CBS’ growth has been so momentous, we are proud to announce we have made WalesOnline’s Fast Growth 50 list for the fourth consecutive year!

What is the Fast Growth 50?

Fast Growth 50 is a list of the fastest growing companies in Wales created by news publisher WalesOnline. It celebrates the success of rapidly expanding businesses and examines their entrepreneurialism in the hope to inspire others.

Fast Growth 50 has been running since 1999 and since then has listed more than 520 firms. These companies have provided more than 25,000 jobs for the Welsh economy and together have made billions of pounds each year.

Last year’s winner of the fastest growing business in Wales was Hydro Industries. Hydro Industries is a water-based technology company, which grew an awe-inspiring 762.2% in one year.

CBS Holds a Steady Place in the Line-up

CBS was notified this week that the company has qualified for the 2015 Fast Growth 50 list. We’ll soon feature in a Western Mail supplement and attending the 17th Fast Growth 50 Gala Dinner in November will give us a chance to put our glad rags on and celebrate.

Hosted by Sian Lloyd from BBC Wales and with a keynote speech from the Secretary of State for Wales, Rt Hon Stephen Crabb MP, it’s a night not to be missed.

Last year’s event was a great night and we were happy to rank as the 7th fastest growing business in Wales. We are yet to find out our position for 2015, so watch this space!

We are also happy to announce that as we have been shortlisted as one of the fastest growing business to business services in Wales for the last four years, we will be receiving a special award for sustainability. It’s extremely rare for a company to maintain this level of growth and we are very thankful that our success has been recognised.
