Reflecting on 2022 as it draws to a close

It seems with each passing year, there is always something that makes the year one to remember. After COVID dominating the past 2 years, this year has been filled with ever-changing governments and a cost-of-living crisis. It is safe that some can’t wait for the year to be over!

In spite of the chaos around us, we’re choosing to remain positive and keep delivering so that our clients know that no matter what, we are here for them, and we will continue to get the job done.

There is so much in 2022 that we are proud of, so in today’s blog post we wanted to highlight just some of our achievements. This year we’re celebrating:

1. We saw the implementation of new products and services, and the enhancement of our current software platforms to provide innovative solutions to our clients. Two of the new products we launched this year were ‘Digital ID Check’ & ‘Uni Pro’, which has saw us onboard several new clients! Bring on 2023!

2. We also saw 6 new starters at CBS this year, and they have joined the team seamlessly. They are thriving, learning and improving day by day, proving they are an asset to CBS. Next year we are aiming to increase our workforce by another 20%!

3. Along with the growth of the CBS family, the business has also grown! With our continued work for our regular clients and also the onboarding of new customers, our revenue increased by 40% which is phenomenal. The growth of our business is just a testament to the hardworking staff here at CBS: we wouldn’t reach our business goals without them.

4. This year, we also raised money for local charities that mean a lot to us! Raising money for local charities and community groups is something we are proud of each year. We always look forward to helping others, and this year we raised lots of money for many charities and groups including Macmillan and the British Legion Poppy Appeal. Well done everybody!

As 2022 draws to a close, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you to our friends, colleagues, customers and suppliers. As always, we appreciate your continued support, and we are looking forward to a great 2023 together!
