Even though the COVID-19 pandemic continues into 2021, it seems that there is light at the end of the tunnel as the COVID-19 vaccination programme has begun to roll out throughout the UK and is being given to the most vulnerable in our society and our frontline workers.
With the roll-out of the vaccination programme, the NHS are looking for volunteers to help run the huge task of vaccinating people as quickly as possible, while also keeping the other vital NHS services running.
It’s currently a critical time for our NHS and its essential that those that wish to volunteer go through the relevant background checks to assess if they are suitable, meaning that employers will need access to priority processing of DBS applications. Here at CBS, we want to do what we can to help with the vaccination programme, so to the NHS health boards, charities and care homes, we offer priority processing of DBS applications.
So, who is eligible for the fast-track DBS checks?
There are also other volunteer roles for the vaccination programme that are not eligible for fast-track checks, but will still need standard and basic DBS checks:
This is such a significant time during the pandemic, that it’s important to ensure that the right people who have offered to volunteer are able to help as soon as they possibly can.
If you work within the NHS and want to know more about our fast-track DBS check services? Contact us today on 01443 799900 or email info@cbscreening.co.uk.
