Rachel Bedgood and the CBS Team
On October 26th CBS was invited to attend the Welsh SME Business Awards 2017 at Portland House, Cardiff, as CEO Rachel Bedgood was nominated for Business Woman of the Year. The awards were held in a celebration of the talent and the hard work of SME enterprises in Wales.
The Welsh SME Business Awards recognise the determination and entrepreneurial spirit of Welsh businessmen and businesswomen operating across a multitude of successful small- and medium-sized businesses. The winners are a true reflection of a high standard as they are chosen by members of the public. CEO of Complete Background Screening, Rachel Bedgood was successful in winning the Business Woman of the Year award.
Established in 2005, CBS is now Wales’ largest screening house, the largest provider of DBS checks and the UK’s third largest provider of background screening checks.
Rachel continues to be committed to her home town and ensures that every business venture makes a substantial contribution to Wales and the economy. Rachel has big plans for CBS, planning to double the turnover and number of staff in the next 18 months whilst continuing to offer employment opportunities to the local and wider community. Rachel has always retained a huge social conscience and is keen to return the benefits to the local and community where she grew up. Supporting the community has always been on the agenda for CBS and will continue to form an important part of the culture in the future.
