Our MD, Rachel, Has Been Named as I AM WOMAN’s First ‘Dragon’ Patron

Our MD, Rachel, is not new to speaking events. As a strong, female entrepreneur she has been presenting and sharing her business knowledge with others for a number of years and is a strong advocate of women helping women.

That is why we’re extremely proud to reveal she has been named as I AM WOMAN’s first official ‘Dragon’ patron – an initiative to help unlock the financial power of women.

Cheryl Bass, MD of I AM WOMAN, said:

“I first met Rachel over a decade ago when CBS was a new venture. Since then, she has become the driving force behind what has grown into a multi-million-pound company. That is why I wanted her to be I AM WOMAN’s first official ‘Dragon’ patron.”

Rachel said:

“I am extremely proud to be named as I AM WOMAN’s first dragon patron and look forward to helping young businesswomen make their dreams a reality.

“Often what women need is a trusted advisor to help them. I AM WOMAN provides start-up training, and with our help, these women will be able to recognise where their business currently is, where they’d like to go, and put a steadfast plan in place for achieving it.”

Unlock Your Financial Power at the I AM WOMAN Dragons Launch

To celebrate her appointment, Rachel is joining forces with Cheryl to put on an inspiring event at the Mercure Holland House Hotel in Cardiff where aspirational women entrepreneurs can attend for an evening of networking and business support.

The evening will kick-off with a cocktail and canape reception where attendees can chat and connect with like-minded entrepreneurs, followed by introductions and some speed networking.

Then it is time for the main event: the presentations. Louise Williams O’Halloran Chair & Founder of the Juno Moneta Group and Sammy Blindell of Brand Builders Club kiicking things off, followed by our very own Rachel, and Cheryl rounding off the evening.

In the new year, I AM WOMAN will be holding regular pitching opportunity events held in Cardiff, where those who are successful receive training, advice, support, motivation and an introduction to funding to help them take the next step in business.

Following its Aspire programme, I AM WOMAN, with Rachel’s support, will help women recognise their potential and achieve an ILM certification across an eight-week programme of weekly training sessions.
